Compiled by Syed Abdul Majid Ghauri, this is a collection of letters of Allama Syed Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi written to world leaders. The collection begins with the letter to then Crown Prince Saud bin Abdul Aziz in 1947 about the government of Jabaya vs. the government of Hidaya (Tax collector vs. the guide). It is a powerful exposition of the difference between the outlooks of the worldly rulers and the Muslim ruler concerned with bringing the message and blessings of Islam to the world. The last letter in the collection was written to Saudi Education minister Hasan b. Abdullah and outlines the Islamic goals of education. Other letters were written to Shaikh Abdullah Salim al-Sabah (Kuwait), King Faisal, King Fahad, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Narismaha Rao, Yasir Arafat, Amir Faisal bin Faisal, and others. They deal with important issues of the day and have much more than historic value. A brief biography of Maulana Nadwi is also included.
