The Children's Learning Made Easy series are educational workbooks produced by the Jamiatul Ulama of Transvaal. These books are produced for children in preschool and kindergarten. Using a multisensory approach, the books have been designed to be both fun as well as educating for these young children as they pass through their formative years of adventure and learning. This is for children age 4 and up.
About the Children's Learning Made Easy Series
This series has been produced by the Taalimi Board of the Jamiatul Ulama of Transvaal. It consists of 9 books to be purchased individually that cover all of the areas of preschool and kindergarten schooling for Muslim children. A separate teacher’s guide is also available for the guidance of the teacher/parent.
The series adopts a multi-sensory approach to guide the young learner though his/her formative years of adventure and learning. The designers have been creative in producing these books, keeping in mind the Islamic value system that permeates through this series, and extending the important concepts of Tauheed, and basic Islamiyaat together with developing pre-reading skills.
These concepts are introduced gradually, allowing the learner to develop confidence as well as appreciate that learning is exciting, rewarding, and fun. The concepts are related to the learner’s experiences in his/her everyday life, inside and outside the home.
Each book has enough activities to keep the learner occupied and invites him to explore and talk about his environment as well as to work more independently.
The books will enable the teacher/parent to help the learner in developing pre-reading/math skills as well as assist with the Tarbiyat and Islamiyaat program.
