Concentration in Salat

Q.) Because of stresses and 'worldly concerns' I find it at times very difficult to concentrate fully on my salat. My mind tends to think of other things although I try thinking of Allah and also I listen carefully to the Surahs I read. I listen to a lot of Qur'an and most of the time I read zikr to build my concentration on our Creator but still when it comes to Salat time I can't concentrate fully.

I know that this is not a question that can have an obvious answer but I will be very grateful for the advise you will share with all of us. Jazakumullah [Ismail Rajah, South Africa]

A.) A) The tried and tested method to develop concentration is to follow what the Imam is reciting. If you don't understand, at least, follow the recitation.

Also, ponder over the fact that you are standing before the Master of the Universe and He is well-aware of what passes through your mind.

And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best
